The church makes every effort to safeguard the welfare of children and vulnerable adults involved in worship, and all church-based activities, including those organised by people hiring the church premises. We aim to make the church a safe place for all people.
Church leaders and all those working with children or vulnerable adults are trained in safeguarding matters, and are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked.
If anyone in the Church Community has any concerns that a child or a vulnerable adult might be at risk of being harmed, they should contact the person below immediately. Nothing in the policy prevents an individual contacting the local authority or the police if they consider someone is at risk or is subject to harm.
